Hiya friends.

Things have been cuh-razy around here, what with Halloween, getting ready for the New York Night of  Hope trip (which is NEXT WEEK OMG), and having a mystery illness last weekend, so I’ve fallen behind on posting!

I just wanted to let everyone out there know that YES, I am still alive, and YES, I am still not pregnant.

I know there’s at least one of you who had suspicions since I’ve been MIA lately…  😉

So in true REAL QUICK fashion, here’s what’s up with me:

I have a dress and heels for New York.  No jewelry, no clutch.  Also, no speech.  Need to work on that…

Halloween got cancelled in Toledo due to some rain.  WHAT?  Seriously, guys?  So yeah.  Trick-or-treating is back on for Sunday, so I’ll be out on my porch throwing candy at passing children.

In my office, Halloween is the biggest event of the year, and the company party is today.  In a matter of minutes, I’m going to go change into my costume and then try to make phone calls for another hour or so, while dressed like an idiot.  It’s pretty much my favorite thing.

Oh right, the mystery illness… So on Saturday, I went to my acu-appointment, and then met a friend for lunch.  During said lunch, I got very dizzy and felt a headache coming on, so I ditched my mall-walking plan in order to go home and rest a bit.  The headache just got worse, and although I went out that night, I regretted it.

I spent Sunday and Monday between couch and bed with a headache and a random, low-grade fever, and though I went back to work on Tuesday, I haven’t really felt human again until today.  I have no idea what that was all about, but I am PRAYING that my migraines aren’t planning a 10-year anniversary reunion tour…

Anyhoo, that’s me.  Not much new here, as you can see.  I’ll update again before (or during) New York, and I’ll be posting whatever pictures I can to the blog’s Facebook during the event!

Happy November, y’all!  🙂

You’re going to post pictures of your costume, right?

I can’t wait to hear all about your trip to New York. I saw the picture of your shoes on Twitter and they’re gorgeous!
