You may remember that back in March, I signed up for this sweet little program that drops a package of awesomeness on my doorstep once a month.
You may also recall that I completely forgot to post the results of the April box… Partly because I’m a slacker, and partly because it just wasn’t amazeballs. Don’t get me wrong, there were a few things in there that I know make the whole box worth the things that I probably won’t use, but it just wasn’t a dazzler like March was…
Well, the May box arrived on Saturday, and let me just tell you, it was fanfreakingtastic!
You guys need to sign up for this.
Really.
Anyway, stop right here if you ARE signed up for this service and have yet to receive your box – I don’t want to spoil the surprise!!

First, the April goodies:
.
Like I said, not as great as March, but still not bad. And worth much more than the $30 per month this service costs! I wear that cute little bracelet ALL the time, and retail pricing on that alone was the cost of the whole month’s subscription!
And chocolate? You really just can’t go wrong there, especially with quinoa, which is so trendy and good-for-you that it seems like you’re chowing on health food when you’re eating your feelings. Win-win.
And now for May (warning – SPOILERS):

.
Seriously, I love this month’s haul. I am gardening this year, and will totally wear that hat. It’s a plus that you can smush it all up and put it in your purse/beach bag and then it somehow retains its shape when you pull it out!
The lip gloss is pretty nice, too. I typically go between a Burt’s Bees tinted balm, and Clinique’s Almost Lipstick, and this is a good alternative to both if you’re looking for something lightweight and natural to wear. Plus? Totally vegan-friendly, which is nice if you’re into that sort of thing. Which I am not when it comes to diet, but AM when it comes to body products.
Some of the other goods I haven’t had a chance to use yet, but I’m still sure that I will. The little tote bag is perfect for bringing a wet bikini home from the beach and/or smuggling booze into an outdoor concert, and that little margarita kit might come in handy for the next girls’ night in.
Speaking of girls’ night in… The Mindy Kaling topic cards? Totally can’t wait to try these out. Come to think of it, mixing socially awkward conversational topics with tequila sounds like the start of a pretty fun little night.
As for the worth of the items in this month’s box, I have no doubt in my mind that this month is worth well over $200. Hell, even the Charm & Chain gift card is worth $30, so that right there makes it worthsies!

If you can’t tell, I love love LOVE this service. It never fails to cheer me up when I see the mailman carrying a big pink and white box to my front porch (which I’m sure he also loves). I feel like I have a super-cool aunt out there somewhere who likes to send me little odds and ends from her fashionable travels.
You know you’d rather have an aunt like that, instead of the aunt we all hate to see coming… 😉
You can sign up here, and be sure to use the promo code REFER5 to save $5!
(There are also several other promo codes available here, though I haven’t tried them myself – if you’re signing up for multiple months, it couldn’t hurt to give it a shot!)
Happy Gift-Getting! 🙂
That is awesome! Who doesn’t love getting awesome mail!?!
