Falling Levels

Monday, October 1st, 2012.
I just got off the phone with Dr. K’s office, and things sound positive.

It was a bit surreal asking for my HCG levels again, and this time being excited that they are so low.

My level on Friday was 151, which is a quick drop.  I’m hoping to continue that trend when I repeat the blood draw this Friday, October 5th.

The nurse said that once I hit zero (or less than five, which they consider zero…), I will likely have a period and normal ovulatory cycle.  I am still a little unclear if that means we can start up with meds again right away, like when my next period shows up, or if we will need to wait until a full cycle passes and then start up once my next period shows.

Questions I can ask later, I suppose…

Anyway, that’s my quick update.  I hope you all are having a magnificent Monday!

I believe most Dr’s want you to have a full cycle before you start again. So it would be on your Next bleed.

That’s what I thought… the nurse I talked to may have just not looked at my chart or something. She was talking like we were starting up with meds in a week or something. Gah!

Mostly they suggest that you have one cycle before starting to try again so that you can better calculate dates and where in your cycle you are etc.
