Insurance Woes

Just a thought:

Hospitals, insurance companies, and especially specialty pharmacies, should really have specially-trained hostage negotiators or bomb dismantlers working in their Infertility Departments.

Seriously.

Someone needs to handle me like the ticking time bomb I am today, and talk me down off this ledge.

I really despise the fact that I am getting such a run-around from the insurance company.  I guess I should just be happy that they cover the medications I need, but it would be great if they had a sense of urgency about the fact that I need to start these injections – that need to be shipped to me – ON MONDAY.

Gah!

As you may have noticed, I am a bit stressed today.  Maybe it’s the Femara.

More than likely, it’s that I have a recently-reduced tolerance for BULLSHIT.

Aaaaaand TGIF to you all.  😉

You may just need to get the meds shipped today and then work on getting reimbursed. Yes, I know that can be even more of a pain, but at least you could get your meds in time.

Yeah… I asked about that, so if the approval hasn’t gone through by 4pm today, I will be calling to request that to happen.

      Ugh. 😛

I agree, check out receptionists are the fertility doctor/obgyn etc.. need special training. Too bitchy or too cheery (Have a GREAT DAY!!!) can make hormonal, emotionally drained women who are otherwise normal really close to homicidal beings.
