I am a nerd. I admit it.
I am also a giant Harry Potter fan.
Liiiiike… I’ve seen every movie so many times I can quote them.
Accent and all.
Sometimes I answer questions with Harry Potter quotes. It’s a serious problem.
I’ve also read and reread the books, and love to point out to the husband (a movie-only Potter fan) the differences in the stories.
He rolls his eyes, but I’m sure he acknowledges my superiority deep down inside.
And so, without further ado, here are some of the silly, poignant, and downright awesome little Potter tidbits I’ve gleaned from the interwebs.
LOVE it! Huge Harry Potter fan here too….like, I was first (well, maybe 7th) in line for all the midnight showings and book releases. Think we need to start an HP-Obsessed Anonymous group or something??? 🙂 Thanks for sharing these, though…they made me laugh! (which I assume was your intention)

Everybody should be obsessed with these series. The first one came out on 1997 but I was too little to start reading than. I probably grabbed my first book around 2004. Ever since that moment I would never stop thinking about Harry Potter. Probably wouldn’t have been the same person without J.K. Rowling.

I have to admit, I SERIOUSLY LOVE all of your Harry Potter pins on Pintrest. They make me LOL and ooh and aah like crazy! I sometimes hate how much I love this series.

Hahaha… I know exactly what you mean! I find myself struggling to make conversation with people who haven’t read the books or at least seen the movies. I’m thinking to myself, “Who RAISED you?! Get some culture, GOSH!”, in a straight-up Napoleon Dynamite inner monologue voice. 😉

LOL! And I second you on the Napoleon Dynamite voice too!

HUGE Harry Potter fan. HUGE.
And please, I pause the movies when I make Bub watch so I can explain to him the differences from the books. I’m sure he LOVES that. 😉

Um, these were fantastic. I loved the one with Robert Pattinson and Hufflepuff. I feel like people always forget that he was Cedric long before he was Edward!

Right?? And then when Voldemort kills him and they flash to his pale, dead body, I’m all like “Aaaaaand NOW you’re Edward!” 😉

Hubs asks me all the time when I’m going to get sick of watching and reading Harry Potter…he obviously has no clue the magnitude of the love us fans have for it! I do the quote with accents also, and my books are falling apart.
