My Easter Eggs

April 8th, 2011.  CD13.

Yesterday was Saturday.

Yesterday I woke up at 5am, made myself pretty, drove an hour and a half to the research clinic and had another monitoring ultrasound and blood draw.

I then had breakfast with one of my old coworkers from the bridal salon and stopped to visit my Spartan Sister-in-law and return The Hunger Games, which I borrowed ages ago.

The clinic called to let me know that they wanted me back for more monitoring on Sunday (today).  Ugh.  There goes my one chance to sleep in this week…

After said phone call, I drove my sweet-ass car back home and hung out with the husband.  We grilled out, watched some TV, and went to bed early where I debuted some pretty new lingerie I picked up recently.

It was hot.  I’d post a picture if I could, but I spent years making sure all nudie pics of me were off the interwebs, and I’d rather not go there again.

Anyway, this was the husband’s face:

And then this morning I got up at 5am, did NOT make myself pretty, threw on my yoga pants that have been to Wal-Mart far more than they’ve been to yoga, and drove again to the research clinic for more monitoring.

They just called to let me know that they didn’t even need to wait for my blood work to come back – I am triggering tonight.

Get this:  My follies came through with flying colors, and my Easter basket is full!

So my IUI is scheduled for Tuesday morning, and I’m feeling pretty good about it.

Plans for today include Easter dinner with the in-laws this afternoon, and calling it an early night!
