Harry Potter and the Deathly Period

Having your period is just like a Dementor attack:

It sucks the life out of you, leaves you a trembling shell of a person curled in the fetal position, and chocolate is the only thing that makes you feel human again.

Expecto PatronuMIDOL!!!

The end.

Oh hey look, I'm not the only one who thinks so!

I love any and all Harry Potter analogies! : ) I’m not sure whether Dementor’s like chocolate too, but it definitely works for me…and wine.

Well although I’m sorry your IUI didn’t work out and it’s CD1 today, this post made me laugh out loud! …Especially the part about the chocolate 🙂 Very funny! Oh well…sending good vibes your way!

Bahaha. Sorry you are feeling so crappy, but couldn’t have put it better myself.

I’m so happy I found your blog! I am doing this same study in VT! I just had my first IUI a few days ago and now I’m already going crazy waiting. It’s so nice to have your blog to look to since you’re going through the same things…I find it so comforting during this waiting time. My husband doesn’t necessarily get my feelings right now…he doesn’t feel every blip in my stomach and have to wonder what it means. I look forward to reading more and I wish you nothing but good luck!

Heather, I’m so glad you found me too! Good luck on your cycle, and please for the love of Jebus, don’t POAS early unless you’ve tested out your trigger shot, LOL.

I had a terrible TWW because I truly thought I was getting a positive test result one day… I will be more careful this cycle.

Thank you for stopping by, and keep in touch! I’ve got my fingers crossed for you, AMIGO! 😉

Hugs to you – and much admiration for the analogy!
