May 23rd, 2011. CD24.
It’s been a crazy couple of days around here, buzzing around trying to get ready for this trip out of town, frantically packing (and re-packing… (and then unpacking again because it’s too freaking early to pack)), and generally stressing out about things beyond my control.
Oh, and then the whole “trying to create life” thing too. Yeah, it’s been busy day and night.
I’ll try to post from Knoxville and at least give you all a little update (or maybe a photo of the husband and I all dolled up), but I really don’t know how much down time I will have…
…Which might be a blessing. I think the whole time we’re away, I will be at the tail end of the two-week-wait, and nothing makes me want to will a pee-stick to come out positive like a big family wedding. Yes, I think that distractions will be welcome.
Oh, as for updates–I may have ovulated. I say may because I haven’t been using OPK’s this month, and my cervical mucus hasn’t been easy to read. The temp went up nicely today, so that part is promising. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what the good ol’ BBT does the next couple of days before we have confirmation.
Yay, more waiting! (sarcasm implied.)
Anyway, I suppose I should go pack some more shoes that I probably won’t wear on our trip…
Have a wonderful week, friends!
That sounds like a good distraction from the ifs/and/buts of the 2ww. Don’t worry about us, we’ll still be here when you get back. Have a blast…once you finally pack for the last time.

Haha! This TTC business is all about waiting. Wait to ovulate, wait to test, wait for AF, wait to see a specialist, wait wait wait! Hopefully this trip will be a good distraction and you will come home with good news. 🙂

i usually make a list of things to pack ahead of time – and pack the night before
that way i never have to repack, just to make sure i packed this or that…
on the more important note – yay to ovulation! good luck!

I never seem to pack until the night before, and then I throw stuff in my bag … must be resisting my mother’s lists. Have a great trip, and here’s to distractions!
